METHODOLOGY
Wise Up Intensive classes are based on a methodology in which learners of different levels of performance within the target language are requested to interact among themselves sharing their knowledge and developing their Strategic Competence. The syllabus has a circular format, in which topics are seen in a nonsystematic way, resembling real-life interaction.
Wise Up firmly believes that learners need to be constantly engaged into planned collaborative work to increase their capacity to solve communicative problems. Thus, learning how to communicate in a foreign language is seen as a reflective training to increase performance.
STRUCTURE
Target public: 16 years of age or older.
Duration: one month minimum
Class frequency: four times a week (Monday-Thursday)
Class duration: four hours and forty-five minutes (two hours – fifteen-minute break – two hours and thirty minutes) - 8am-12:45pm
Levels: Seven different levels (Intro-A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2).
